Absa names Ralebitso head of private banking

Absa Group Ltd, the South African bank controlled by Barclays Plc, appointed Mohale Ralebitso as managing executive for private banking, replacing Hlengani Mathebula. Mathebula will remain with the bank until the end of December, Patrick Wadula, head of media relations at Absa, said in an e-mailed response to a request for comment. Daphne Motsepe was appointed group executive for unsecured lending, it said. City Press reported today Absa replaced Mathebula.
