The Red Cross and Red Crescent are assisting more than 350,000 people displaced by the crisis in Pakistan, the Red Cross said Saturday.

The World Health Organization is assisting with rebuilding more than 80 health facilities destroyed by the conflict. WHO said a priority of the organization is the safety of healthcare providers during a crisis.

Residents of Pakistan's North-West Frontier Province were displaced by fighting, the International Committee for the Red Cross reported.

"The needs of those affected by the fighting in the North-West Frontier Province, especially access to health services and food, remain considerable," said Alexandre Faite, the ICRC deputy head of delegation in Pakistan.
