American Express focuses on UAE with key strategic appointment

American Express Middle East and North Africa (Mena) announced today the appointment of Graziela Martins as UAE Head of Merchant Acquiring and Partnerships. Mrs. Martins will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with merchant and business partners in the UAE to ensure that American Express Cards continue to provide unmatched rewards and are accepted in all the places that Cardmembers visit.

Based in Abu Dhabi, Mrs. Martins, who is a veteran of American Express (Mena), will also be responsible for the overall management of the American Express office in the UAE capital. The focus on Abu Dhabi reflects its strategic importance as the company's largest single metropolitan market in the region.
