Australia names Yeend as WTO ambassador

The Australian government appointed Tim Yeend as ambassador and permanent representative to the World Trade Organisation in Geneva. Yeend will replace Peter Grey, who has been named chief executive officer of the Australian Trade Commission, Trade Minister Simon Crean and Foreign Affairs Minister Stephen Smith said in a joint statement e-mailed to Bloomberg News today.
