Soccer club Besiktas Futbol Yatirimlar Sanayi & Ticaret AS rose after bids for Turkish Super League soccer rights exceeded an annual $320m. Besiktas gained 18 kurus, or 3.7 per cent, to 5.06 liras at 2:32 pm in Istanbul. Fenerbahce Sportif Hizmetler Sanayi & Ticaret AS, which owns the Fenerbahce soccer team brand, added 1.5 liras, or 2.9 per cent, to 54 liras. Bidding for the rights is taking place in Istanbul today and proceeds go to Turkish soccer teams. Turk Telekomunikasyon AS, a landline phone company, and Digiturk, a satellite television broadcaster, are competing in the auction ran by the Turkish Football Federation.
