Brazil’s cocoa grind rises 4.4pc in Q2

Cocoa grind in Brazil climbed 4.4 per cent in the second quarter from a year earlier, analyst Thomas Hartmann said in an e-mail. Beans processed came to 917,853 bags in the quarter compared with 878,881 bags in the second quarter of last year, Hartmann said. In June, processings were 296,708 bags, down 4.8 per cent from a year earlier, according to the e-mail.
