Brazil central bank allows Esteves to take control of UBS unit

Brazil’s central bank allowed Andre Esteves, head of BTG Investments, to take control of Banco UBS Pactual SA, the authority said in an e-mailed statement. Esteves agreed to purchase UBS AG’s Brazilian operations in April.
