A cable manufacturing plant of Middle East Specialized Cables (MESC) was inaugurated at the Al Ghail Industrial Park in Ras Al Khaimah, WAM has reported. The plant, set up with an investment of Dh170 million by the MESC Group headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will produce industrial, instrumentation, control and low voltage power cables.

Abdulaziz Al Namlah, Chairman and the Board Executive Director of MESC, said that the reason behind choosing Ras Al Khaimah to set up the plant was the infrastructural facilities and the competitive advantage offered by the emirate as an investor friendly destination. "MESC's new manufacturing facility in Ras Al Khaimah is designed to supply UAE, Gulf countries and other markets with high- end quality cables as part of the company strategy to expand presence in strategic markets," he added.
