Dubai-listed logistics firm Aramex said on Tuesday chief operating officer Osama Fattaleh resigned to pursue personal business interests, after more than 20 years with the company.Iyad Kamal, who has worked with the company for 18 years will replace Fattaleh, Aramex said in a statement on the Dubai bourse website.
Aramex, which competes with global giants such as Fedex and DHL and posted a better-than-expected 28 per cent rise in fourth-quarter profit, is eyeing further expansion in 2010. Aramex shares closed 3 per cent up on Tuesday, outperforming Dubai's index which ended 0.9 per cent higher.
