EFG-Hermes asks bourse to halt stock pending statement

EFG-Hermes asked the Egyptian stock exchange to suspend trading in its shares because it plans to make an announcement within the next few hours, the Cairo-based investment bank said on Tuesday.

"Trading is to resume after the announcement," EFG-Hermes said in a statement.
