Egypt tax revenues rise 6pct: ministry

Egypt's total tax revenues for the fiscal year that ended June 30 rose 6 per cent over a year earlier, the Finance Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

Total tax revenues reached 148 billion Egyptian pounds ($26 billion) in the fiscal year 2009/10, the statement said.
