Egypt's Eastern nine-month net profit at $67.6m

Egypt's cigarette monopoly Eastern Company posted unaudited nine-month net profit for the period ended March 2011 of 402 million Egyptian pounds ($67.6m). The figure compares to 625.8m pounds posted for the same period a year earlier, the firm said in a statement to the bourse on Wednesday. The statement did not provide further details.
