Egypt's main index rises 2.7pct, Orascom up 10pct

Egypt's benchmark index rose 2.7 per cent on Sunday, the third day of trade since political turmoil closed the bourse for more than seven weeks. Index heavyweights Orascom Telecom and Orascom Construction jumped 10 per cent seconds after the stock exchange opened for trade. The broad index also rose 5 per cent.
