Emirates Post to facilitate payment of Dubai trade licence fees
The Dubai Department of Economic Development has included Emirates Post as one of the latest means for businesses in Dubai to pay new, renewed and amended trade licence fees across Dubai, the agency said in a statement.

According to the agreement, Emirates Post will facilitate the payment and will present to DED a weekly detailed report covering all details and procedures during the week.

"The agreement is in line with the ongoing efforts of government institutions to achieve Dubai’s strategic goals and the leadership’s vision of promoting sustainable development in the Emirate. It will also provide customers with high quality services that save time, enhance procedures and facilitate the faster and easier payment of trade license fees," said Mr Khalid Al Kassim, Deputy Director General for Executive Affairs, DED.

"With this agreement with DED, Emirates Post has further widened the bouquet of non-postal services offered at post offices, adhering to standards of quality and excellence. This agreement will allow collection of fees for business licences through over 37 branches of Emirates Post, located in the Emirate of Dubai," said Abdullah Mohammad Alashram, CEO of Emirates Post.

Emirates Post aims to establish the postal company as a one-stop shop for a variety of services, and plans similar agreements with federal and local government departments, Alashram added.
