Etihad appoints senior team for new Japanese service

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has announced the appointment of Masatsugu Nishiyori (Nick) and Juan Torres to head up its offices in Japan.

Based in Tokyo, Mr Nishiyori will serve as the airline’s vice president – general manager in Japan, while Mr Torres will take up the position of commercial manager. Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways chief commercial officer, said: “Our senior representatives in Japan bring extensive experience and expertise to this dynamic and unique market, where they will play a key role in establishing our commercial organisation and offices. I am very pleased to welcome them to our growing team.”
