France in shock and anger after murder of 13-year-old

Shock and anger is growing in France at a particularly gruesome rape and murder of a 13-year-old French girl, allegedly by a fellow student. It has now emerged that the 17-year-old suspect already had a rape conviction but that the judiciary failed to inform the school authorities.
