Google shuts India center as precaution against swine flu

Google Inc., owner of the most- visited Internet search engine, closed a center in the southern Indian city of Hyderabad yesterday and today, after one of its contract workers tested positive for the swine-flu virus. “He has been hospitalized and is under full medical care,” the Mountain View, California-based company said in an e-mailed statement. “As a precautionary measure, we have closed the concerned office in Hyderabad for two days, 14th and 15th July, and are taking all necessary steps, including sanitizing of common areas, to protect our employees.”
