HAA opens Zayed Centre for Family in Uganda

Health Authority-Abu Dhabi (HAA) has opened in cooperation with Ugandan Mekerari University and Johns Hopkins, the Zayed Centre for Family Care at Mulago Hospital in Uganda's capital city, Kampala, to provide support and treatment for over 3,000 Aids patients.

Dr Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, board chairman of the HAA, said the generous support from the UAE leadership, "Have empowered us to become partners at the research and solidarity care centre with Makerari University and Johnes Hopkins".
