HSBC to sell $648m of samurai bonds in Japan

HSBC Holdings Plc’s banking unit will sell ¥60 billion ($648 million) of samurai bonds in Japan, according to a filing with the nation’s finance ministry. HSBC Bank Plc will sell ¥30bn of fixed-rate and ¥30bn of floating-rate bonds, the filing said.
