India's NTPC plans stakes in Indonesia coal mines

Indian state-run utility NTPC Ltd is looking to pick up stakes in two coal mines in Indonesia, its chairman RS Sharma told reporters.

"We are studying the proposal for two mines – one is in East Kalimantan and second is in Sumatra," he said on Monday on the sidelines of a conference.
