ING Australia sells A$1.6 bln government-guaranteed bonds

ING Groep NV’s Australian unit sold A$1.6 bln ($1.3 billion) of four-year government-guaranteed securities.

ING Bank (Australia) priced A$1 bln of fixed-rate 5.75 percent notes to yield 5.91 percent, according to an e-mailed statement from the bank. It also sold A$600 million of floating rate notes yielding 36 basis points over the three month bank bill swap rate, according to the e-mail.
