International SOS, the world’s leading provider of medical assistance, international healthcare, security services and outsourced customer care to international travelers and expatriates, has expanded its premises at the Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZ).

“We are growing by an average of 20 per cent per annum and are seeing positive indications of an improvement in business outlook,” said Olivier Ryder, Regional General Manager Middle East and Africa. “In the oil and gas industry, where most of our clients are working, some projects which have been shelved are now back on track. Although we are not yet really out of the financial crisis there are now signs of a revival.” There are 55 staff members of International SOS operating out of the Freezone and 650 employees spread in the Middle East and Africa region, of which 180 are medical personnel.
