Kiev University awards HD to Sheikh Hamdan

Kiev University of Ukraine has conferred an Honorary Doctorate on H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, in recognition of his contributions and services to stimulate national economy, encourage joint investment and support education in developing countries.

Sheikh Hamdan received the certificate when he welcomed yesterday a delegation from the University led by MP of Ukraine Parliament and Advisor to Prime Minister of Ukraine Mr Vladislav Kaskayev.

Kaskayev handed Sheikh Hamdan an invitation from the Ukrainian premier to visit Kiev.

''Led by President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE is determined to extend bridges of cooperation and enhance humanitarian, cultural and economic interaction with other peoples of the world, he said.
