Kitab puts words into action with world-class training for regional publishing industry

Reinforcing their commitment to enhancing publishing industry professionalism, KITAB, a joint venture between the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) and the Frankfurt Book Fair, has once again joined forces with the Academy for the German Book Trade and the Goethe-Institut Gulf Region to offer a world-class training programme for mid-management publishing professionals in the Arab World.

Starting on 27 September and running until 1 October, the training sessions will be led by internationally recognised industry experts and will focus on providing practical knowledge-building discussions that are aimed at industry professionals at the mid-management level from across the Arab World. Topics up for discussion over the five days include the economic realities of a publishing house, planning and strategy and the legal background and practical aspects of licensing.
