Korea Exchange shareholders elect Kim as new chairman

Korea Exchange Inc appointed Kim Bong Soo, vice chairman of Kiwoom Securities Co, as its new chairman. Kim was elected at a shareholder meeting today to serve a three-year term as head of the nation’s bourse operator upon appointment by President Lee Myung Bak, Korea Exchange spokesman Lee Ho Sung said by phone.
