London Array signs $2.93bn of contracts for wind-farm work

EON AG, Dong Energy A/S and Masdar said almost €2bn ($2.93 billion) of supply and installation contracts have been signed for the first phase of their London Array wind farm off the UK. The project is on schedule for first-phase construction completion in 2012, the partners said today in an e-mailed statement.
