Malayan Banking names Zafrul to head Maybank investment

Malayan Banking Bhd named Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz as chief operating officer of its investment banking unit. “It is intended that Tengku Zafrul will assume the position of chief executive officer of Maybank Investment Bank Bhd. subject to approval” from relevant authorities such as the central bank, it said in a statement today. Tengku Zafrul is currently the group director of K&N Kenanga Holdings Bhd., said Malayan Banking.
