Manila based GMA Network’s H1 profit up 24pct

GMA Network Inc’s first-half net income increased 24 per cent to 1.69 billion pesos, the Manila- based broadcaster said in a statement today. Sales rose 19 per cent to 7.57bn pesos boosted by political ads in the May general elections, it said.
