Mauritius sugar output to decline in 2011

Mauritius’s sugar production will decline to 400,000 metric tonnes this year, a drop of about 50,000 tons, local newspaper reported, citing Gunsham Boodram, chairman of the Mauritius Sugar Syndicate.
