MSC Malaysia's presence within the GCC area is set to be further enhanced by its special high level executive roundtable meetings with Technology decision makers of key Government Departments of U.A.E. during the Gulf IT Expo (GiTEX), which is currently being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Four of the top MSC Malaysia-status ICT Services companies ranging from those involved in Software Applications and Services, Electronic Government Solutions, System and Network Security to Outsourcing Solutions and Services, also represented the ICT sector at this executive meeting. The companies are KOMPAKAR, SKALI, Orea Technologies, and Solsis.
According to Bill CHIN, the Head of Market Acquisition of Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC), of MSC Malaysia, ICT companies' participating in this special meeting platform in conjunction with GiTEX2009 are examples of the comprehensive, credible and cutting edge ICT services MSC Malaysia offers to world at competitive costs. MDeC is the lead agency spearheading the MSC Malaysia project. MSC Malaysia is a national initiative spearheaded by the Malaysian Government to promote both the national ICT industry and provide a test-bed for the global ICT industry.
According to HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saqer Al Qassimi, UAE is an advanced country in government technology services under the visions of UAE rulers, and in UAE we seek excellence at all levels, meeting with Malaysian government and MSC Malaysia companies is a great opportunity to exchange knowledge, and experiences to build better future.
UAE Government Department leaders who were in the imperative meeting were from Dubai eGovernment, Mr. Thani Abdullah Alzaffin, Chief Executive Officer, and Mrs. Somaiya Khalifa Bin Hammad, Director of Systems Department; from the Ministry of Education, Mrs. Badria Yousif Hussain, IT Director, and Mrs. Fatima Ali Al Khajah, Head of Programs Support and Application, from the Ministry of Foreign Trade, Mr. Feras Kanaan Darweesh, Information Systems Expert. Also in attendance from Arab Bank was Mr. Mansur Ikhlas Ahmed, IT Chief Executive.

For this executive roundtable, MSC Malaysia represented the Malaysian ICT sector to speak about, "MSC Malaysia, Solutions for the World - Developing Nations through ICT, Empowering Citizens via Technology" at the Dubai World Trade Centre, focused on world solutions provided by MSC Malaysia to optimize strategies and opportunities in the New World of developing nations and economic power houses.
