New Zealand’s March commodity export prices rise 1.8pct

New Zealand’s commodity export price index climbed for a 13th straight month in March led by logs, aluminum and beef, ANZ National Bank Ltd said. The index rose 1.8 per cent from February, when it gained 3.8 per cent, ANZ National said in a report released in Wellington today. Prices climbed 50 per cent from a year earlier. In New Zealand dollars, the index rose 0.4 per cent from February and gained 16 per cent from a year earlier.
