Oman oil output rose 4.2pct in January

Oman produced oil at an average rate of 885,600 barrrels a day in January, up 4.2 per cent from the previous month, state-run Oman News Agency reported on Sunday.

The Arab country exported more than 7.23 million barrels of crude oil in January, for an increase of 17 per cent over January 2010, the agency reported on its website. Oman pumped 98,903m cubic feet of gas last month, 7.4 per cent more than in the prior year, ONA said
