Poems of Mohammed Bin Rashid published in German language

An anthology of selected poems written by Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has been brought out in German language by the Munich-based German publishing house Carl H. Verlag. The poems were brought out at the initiative of the well-known German poet and the chairman of Berlin Literary Festivals Joachim Sartorius as part of publishing a series of poems from around the world. Two prominent German orientalists well-versed in Arabic language and literature did the translation of poems into the German language. Literary and media circles in Germany have expressed profound interest in the poems of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid. A collection of verse by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid has been published earlier in English language under the title 'Poems from the desert'.
