Qatari liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanker Al Gattara is to arrive at Belgium's Zeebrugge LNG terminal on May 9, and a bigger Qatari vessel is likely to arrive in the UK a few days earlier, according to AIS Live ship tracking data on Reuters.
The UK-bound Zarga, which can hold 266,000 cubic metres of LNG, was registered by AIS on Tuesday morning heading towards Britain near the Egyptian port of Alexandria. The vessels is about nine days sail away from Britain, travelling at an average speed of 14 knots, so could arrive around May 5. The Al Gattara tanker can hold up to 216,000 cubic metres of LNG.
