Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc will cut about 400 jobs at its Direct Line insurance unit in Glasgow, according to a recent report. “We do not comment on speculation and have a commitment to our staff that we will always tell them first if we are announcing any changes that affect them,” the bank said in a statement today.
