Romania will invest about 417 million euros ($583 million) to help build the Nabucco gas pipeline, which is intended to reduce reliance on Russian natural gas, Prime Minister Emil Boc said.
Transgaz SA, Romania’s natural-gas transmission company is partner in the pipeline project.
