Rubber futures in Shanghai climb to 37,750 yuan per tonne

Rubber futures in Shanghai surged as much as 1 per cent to a record. The May-delivery contract on the Shanghai Futures Exchange gained for an eighth day to 37,750 yuan a metric tonne, and traded at 37,410 yuan at 9:05 am local time.
