Russia will harvest 81.5-85 million metric tonnes of grain this year, according to a forecast by Arkady Zlochevksy, president of the Russian Grain Union. Zlochevsky reiterated the union’s forecast for the country to export as much as 20m tonnes of grain this year, despite the drought. Zlochevsky spoke to reporters in Moscow today.
