The board of Saudi Arabia's Etihad Atheeb Telecom has named Zaid Shabanat as its new chief executive, it said on Monday.
The loss-making fixed-line operator said in a regulatory filing that the change would be effective Jan.1.Shabanat is currently the company's deputy chief executive and chief operation officer. He replaces the outgoing acting CEO Raed Kayyal who took the helm in June last year after the previous CEO had resigned.
