Sharjah’s hotels enjoy healthy occupancy rates

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qassimi, chairman of Sharjah’s tourism arm, believes the emirate’s tourism industry is performing better this year. In the first quarter of 2010 the emirate’s hotels enjoyed a 70 per cent occupancy rate, a figure that is expected to increase in the coming quarters.
