Sharjah Chamber calls for more environment-friendly practices

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has called for the adoption of more environment -- friendly practices to help support the emirate's ongoing efforts to achieve total sustainable development. The call was made during the launch of the local chamber's Environment Week initiative held in celebration of World Environment Day 2010.

The initiative, which is in line with the vision of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah will run from June 5, 2010 to June 12, 2010. The event will showcase environment friendly industrial products and services of participating companies and organizations.
