Sony Pictures Television sets up regional base in Dubai

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has set up a production company in Dubai Studio City called Sony Pictures Television Arabia, which will be SPT’s Middle East operational base. The new company will complement SPT’s other offices in Beirut and Cairo with the scope of activity covering the entire region. It plans to develop several original formats as well as locally-created drama concepts to serve broadcasters operating across the region.
