SportsFit Health Club launched on Tuesday its second outlet at Mazaya Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai as it makes it health and fitness services more accessible to the emirate’s residents

A venture of Lals Group, SportsFit Health Club offers advanced gym equipment and specialised workout sessions under the supervision of experienced and certified fitness trainers.

The launch event was attended by the senior officials of Lals Group, a leading business conglomerate and owners of some of the well-known brands in the Middle East, Dr Ottavia Molinari, President of the Italian Business Council, Mr Mauro Marzocchi, Secretary General of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in UAE and Senior officials of Panatta Sports where the fitness equipment at SportsFit has been sourced from. The opening also welcomed the sports and fitness enthusiasts of the city along with other guests and associates.

Lal Ganwani, Chairman of Lals Group, said, “Health and fitness is undoubtedly making its way into our urban society. The astounding success of the SportsFit branch in Arabian Center is an endorsement of this growing consciousness. Our business module is based on addressing this health-conscious audience providing them with a modern environment for working out and making it extremely accessible for them so as to fit into their busy lifestyle.”

Huda Dogan, Managing Partner, SportsFit Health Club and a veteran in the health and fitness sector, said: “This venture is one that we are very proud of, as it is a move towards building a more health conscious society. The need for fitness and healthy body and mind is often dismissed in our lives owing to busy schedules and lack of motivation. By placing ourselves in extremely convenient locations, and ensuring that work out is as enjoyable as is affordable, we aim to motivate as many people to take a step towards a healthier lifestyle. At SportsFit, we believe, health need not come at a price, which is why we lay great emphasis on affordability.”

“SportFit has witness an overwhelming response, which has encouraged our growth in the region. We will soon be opening up at the Marina Walk in Dubai, with the aim to open five conveniently located outlets in Dubai this year and ten by 2012 across the UAE,” she added.

SportsFit has been carefully created using the best equipment possible, coupled with the professional staff and trainers. Built-in with the latest, most advanced fitness equipment from Panatta Sports from Italy, recognised internationally as the benchmark company for style, innovation, and movement in fitness gear, the Club caters to the fitness enthusiasts to offer unmatched experience of work out.
