Standard Chartered hires Shah to head M&A in Mideast

Standard Chartered Plc appointed Apoorva Shah as managing director of mergers and acquisitions for the Middle East and North Africa region. Shah, who will be based in Dubai, joins the bank from Deutsche Bank AG, where he was the regional head of mergers and acquisitions, Standard Chartered said in an e-mailed statement today.
