Thailand’s state pension fund names Sopawadee new chief

Thailand’s state pension fund named Sopawadee Lertmanaschai as its new chief, filling a post that had been vacant for seven months. Sopawadee, 56, will assume the role on January 18, the Government Pension Fund said in a statement distributed before a press conference today in Bangkok.
