Wheat rises 1.6pct in Chicago, heads for biggest gain

Wheat futures for September delivery rose 9.5 cents, or 1.6 per cent, to $6.045 a bushel as of 5:40 am on the Chicago Board of Trade. A close at that price would be the biggest gain since July 21.
